The school considers reading at home to be an essential part of each child's learning development. All children are expected to participate in reading at home.
Each year parents are given the option to:
- opt out of all Home Learning activities (other than reading); or
- have their child do some Home Learning activities depending on their learning needs, level of interest and available time; or
- have their child complete Home Learning as provided by the class teacher, which will be monitored and the parent informed if Home Learning is not compete.
We ask parents to consider these options in conjuction with the School's Home Learning Policy. Click here to read the policy, however please note that the policy is currently under review.
